Airdrie
moved back to the top of Division One after a tough 2-1
win over Falkirk at Brockville.
The
home side took a deserved lead after 13 minutes when Ian
Morris put Lee Miller clean through, and the striker lifted
the ball over keeper Alan Ferguson and into the net.
The
visitors hit back six minutes later after a mistake by
defender Steven Rennie.
Rennie
miscontrolled the ball and Craig McPherson hit a superb
left-foot drive low across Miles Hogarth and in at the
keeper's left-hand post.
After
the break the home side began to dominate, only to commit
another error at the back with 66 minutes gone.
Hogarth
kicked a simple backpass straight to Airdrie's John Henry,
whose neat pass allowed Mark Roberts to chip the keeper
from all of 30 yards.
