The
'Old Broomfield stadium' has a place in every Airdrie fans
heart, with it being the home of Airdrie for many years. But
after it's destruction in 1994, it was time to find a new
home.
The
'Shyberry Excelsior stadium' was erected in August 1998 and
after 4 year at Clyde's 'Broadwood Stadium' it was finally
time to move back to the town. With it's four seperate, singled
teared, covered stands, it gives the ground an impressive
look which is among the best, if not 'the best' in the Scottish
First Division.
The
Alister Young Suite, Derwent Lounge & Gleneagles Suite
offer great hospitality inside the stadium, and there are
a variety of functions availible also which include a restaurant
,a club bar and a lounge for weddings, private functions.etc.
The
New Broomfield is an all round impressive stadium and it will
certainly help Airdrie's push for the Scottish Premier League
this season...
